The strata in the hills you see is called the Shinarump formation The Chinle formation is a Upper Triassic continental geologic formation fluvial, lacustrine, and palustrine to eolian deposits spread across the US states of Nevada, Utah, northern Arizona, western New Mexico, and western Colorado. The Chinle is controversially considered to be synonymous to the Dockum Group of eastern Colorado and New Mexico, western Texas, the Oklahoma panhandle, and southwestern Kansas. The Chinle is sometimes colloquially named as a formation within the Dockum Group in New Mexico and in Texas. The Chinle formation is part of the Colorado Plateau, Basin and Range, and the southern section of the Interior Plains.[1] A probable separate depositional basin within the Chinle is found in northwestern Colorado and northeastern Utah. The southern portion of the Chinle reaches a maximum thickness of a little over 520 m. Typically, the Chinle rests unconformably on the Moenkopi Formation. The Shinarump formation is essential prospecting for placer gold and it is only accessable on top ground in a handful of place around the world. gold rush alaska season 3 episode 6 gold rush alaska season 3 episode 7 gold rush alaska season 3 episode 8 gold rush alaska season 3 episode 9 gold rush alaska season 3 episode 10 gold rush alaska season 3 episode 11 gold rush alaska season 3 episode 12 gold rush alaska season 3 episode 13 gold rush alaska season 3 episode 14 gold rush alaska season 3 episode 15 pink ...
