Got some nice gold sampling with a dry washer at the oldest known gold mining district in California (So. Cal.) - 'The Potholes', this was worked long before the California Gold Rush! This location discovered in the 1700's (although probably worked sooner than this by the Indians) I am a member of the SPMA Gold Prospecting Club who owns these claims.
